Marilyn and Morgan’s downtown Tennessee session was the perfect mix of adventure and laughter. We kicked things off at Shelby Bottoms Greenway, where deer literally wandered right into our path like they were part of the photoshoot lineup. From there, we headed down the main street to soak up the city vibes. Live music spilling from every corner, neon signs glowing, and all the spots that meant something from their early dates. The sky was moody and cloudy (a total win for dreamy light), and these two just leaned into it, laughing nonstop and making it so easy to capture their connection in such a natural, effortless way.

By the time we hit Acme Feed & Seed, the whole evening had turned into one big hangout. Jokes flying, music all around us, and photos that feel like snapshots of pure fun. The balance of sweet, quiet moments mixed with the buzz of downtown energy was exactly what made this session feel so special. Marilyn and Morgan are the kind of couple that makes photographing feel less like work and more like a night out with friends. I’m already counting down the days until November when I get to photograph their wedding. It’s going to be an unforgettable party.
