A San Diego City Engagement Session

Zoe and Ezra were so amazing to let me join them in creating this visual awesomeness. From the get go Zoe sent me her inspo and then let me run with it. Our goal was a fun editorial, almost boutique vibe.

So many of my ideas came up on the spot including “hey do you guys like Mcdonalds?” We started the session in downtown San Diego and these two really braved the cold for at least a solid hour (in seriously such cute outfits though– I mean they pop out great against the city and brick!) People were super confused for the solid twenty minutes we were in the middle of the street, but because they took my recommendation of shooting on a weekday, it wasn’t too busy at all.

We continued the shoot at The Pearl boutique hotel, where they had booked a room for the night. Seriously not only is this hotel like, picturesque from head to toe, but the staff are the extremely nice and accommodating, and literally make some of the best coffee, no lie. We shot in their cute little boho room, stopped to eat some mcdonalds– (which almost got a little distracting as I had to say hey guys stop chewing for the photo haha) walked down to the hotel lobby, and they even ignored the cold to jump in the extremely chilly pool. ANYTHING for the shot with these two and I think this gallery shows how worth it it truly was! I’m obsessed. Also for future reference it was these two that got me hooked on Frank Ocean. Living for those vibes.
