OH MY GGGGGGGAAAWD This gorgeous couple! Our backstory is one for the books let me tell ya. I have a special connection with these two, because the day that I was supposed to be shooting their engagement session, my baby decided to be born instead.
Both Jordan & Andrew were extremely supportive and understanding when I messaged them a couple days before saying “hey, I have a strong feeling my little guy is on his way soon, so just in case, I have a back up photographer on standby, is that ok?” I went to the doctor, and while she assured me it wasn’t going to happen because I was still two weeks away from my due date and he was my first, I just had some weird feeling he was going to make an entrance (go brain for being super in tune with body and baby). So while I was pushing away in the hospital, these two were giggling away in front of a camera– for me by someone else.
Flash forward a year, a pandemic, and a bunch of obstacles, and WE MADE IT! I was so so so lucky to be a part of their special day and when I showed up, it felt like we had already been friends and connected for a long long while. This day was nothing short of amazing, and most of that was because of the amazing love these two had for each other (I mean, he wrote her 20 letters for her to read on special occasions throughout their life– i.e. their wedding day, first baby, first house, etc. STOP IT I’M CRYING).
Congratulations you two!!
